Summer Maintenance Checklist - 2021 Edition
Summer is now in full swing and we're rounding up the top home maintenance items to tackle while the days are longer and the weather is hot!
Test your smoke detectors and replace them as needed.
Dust off your fan blades and make sure your fans are working properly.
Get your chimney cleaned.
Check all carbon monoxide detectors.
Clean all windows inside and out.
Replace ripped screens.
Check for any rot around the window, roof, or chimney.
Make sure the grill is cleaned and ready for BBQ.
Power wash the exterior of your home.
Give your deck a once-over check for any rot or mold.
Pull weeds / apply weed and feed as needed.
Add a layer of mulch to beds.
Check for any leaks around your home.
Care for all your plants to make sure they thrive all summer long!
Add a sprinkler if needed for watering grass/plants.
Protect your home from any unwanted house guests, caulk windows, and doors to stop the bugs from getting in!
